General Information about being a stallholder.
A Brief Overview
The Subiaco Craft and Community Fair is a community project of the Rotary Club of Matilda Bay held on Sunday 23rd October 2011.
Gates open for stallholders at 7 am on the day and the fair is open to the public from 10 am to 4 pm. Stallholders cannot set up before 7 am nor dismantle before 4 pm.
Who can be a stallholder?
Anyone interested in the production of high quality original craft is able to apply for a stall allocation at the Subiaco Craft and Community Fair.
Are there any restrictions on stallholders?
Stallholders should be selling original craft only and in accordance with the terms and conditions included with the registration form. Stallholders are required to submit with payment photographs so that craft can be assessed. If the craft does not appear to be original, you will be contacted for clarification. This requirement will be enforced for the 2011 Fair.
It may also be necessary to limit the number of stallholders in a particular craft category. Issues were raised by the public in relation to the 2010 Fair, that there were too many stalls selling one particular item of craft. It may be necessary to inspect craft to ensure it complies with the terms and conditions.
In addition, all stall holders selling food of any description must meet the requirements of the City of Subiaco Food Regulations. These are outlined in more detail as you go through the registration process and in the Terms and Conditions.
Parking for Stall Holders
Free parking is available all day on site in an area specially designated for stallholders.
Trestle Tables and Chairs
Each stallholder is entitled to one trestle table and one chair, the cost of which is included in the stall price. Additional trestles can also be purchased (cost as per the registration form) provided there is sufficient space on the site provided. Extra stall positions with a trestle table and chair can be pre-booked at the cost designated for that site.
Each stall area is 3 metres x 3 metres.
Stallholder Raffle
It is a condition of participation that stallholders provide a raffle prize to the value of at least $20. Items are collected on the day by Rotary, displayed in large gift baskets and raffled off free throughout the day. Stallholders may provide promotional material such as a business card with their raffle prize. Please mark the prize with your stall number.
Site Map and Stall Prices
A copy of the site map is available on the first page after you press the Register Now button, together with the stall prices. Just click on the Site Map Craft Fair Stalls document to view these. Prices remain unchanged from last year’s Fair and range from $160 to $200. If you book and pay now and attend the Fair, you will receive $20 cash back automatically after the Fair.
Please note on the map that North is towards the right hand side of the map (where the symbol is). In order to get some appreciation of where shade will be, the sun will move from the bottom of the map (East) to the right (North) and to the top of the map during the day (West).
