Welcome to the Subiaco Craft and Community Fair, the Biggest Outdoor Craft and Community Event in Western Australia.

The Subiaco Craft and Community Fair is a community project of the Rotary Club of Matilda Bay.  All proceeds are allocated to charitable bodies or Rotary community projects.  The Rotary Club of Matilda Bay has much pleasure in continuing the tradition of presenting its annual Subiaco Craft and Community Fair on:

Sunday 23rd October 2011.

This year, the event promises to be fantastic with 170 stalls, free activities, entertainment and great food, the Subiaco Craft and Community Fair is the ideal way to enjoy a family day out while looking for something special to buy, especially with Christmas approaching fast.

Treat yourself to a delicious lunch, all the while taking the time to admire the magnificent surroundings of Matilda Bay and the University grounds.

Beautiful surroundings, extraordinary handcrafts, tranquil grounds, foreshore and river are some of the attractions. There will also be a range of children’s activities such as a Punch and Judy show, climbing wall, face painting and so on.

Gates are open to the public from 10 am (one hour later than in previous years).  The entry donation will be used entirely to assist local charities and community projects (see the Beneficiaries page to see where the money goes). Ample free car parking is available.

Everyone attending the Fair receives a free ticket in the giant Stallholders’ Promotional Raffle, which showcases the quality of the craft available for sale. There are several draws during the day with hundreds of dollars worth of prizes. On top of this, there will be a major prize of a weekend adventure break in Margaret River.

The Venue

The Oak Lawn at The University of Western Australia just off Hackett Drive provides stallholders with a wonderful site.  Views of the river make this a unique venue.  The vista of Matilda Bay provides a back drop for a very pleasant day out. So please come and enjoy.
